IGSendMail

Branded unsubscribe page

Put your name, logo and button colour on the page subscribers see when they unsubscribe, so nothing they see names the tool behind your email.

On this page›

When someone clicks the unsubscribe link in one of your emails, they land on a short confirmation page. On the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans that page carries your brand: your logo or your name, and a button in your colour, with no IGSendMail name, logo or tracking on it. When you finish this page, your subscribers will see your brand from the inbox to the moment they leave.

Which plans

Branding comes with Pro, Business and Enterprise. On Free and Starter the setting is visible but locked, and the unsubscribe page keeps the standard design.

What subscribers see#

Three things put your brand in front of subscribers, and they work together:

  • Your sending domain. Every email goes out from your own domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC. See Sending domains.
  • Your tracking domain. With one set up, every link in your emails, the unsubscribe link included, starts on your domain. See Tracking domain.
  • Your unsubscribe page. The page this guide sets up.

Your emails never carry an IGSendMail footer, on any plan. You and your team still work in the IGSendMail dashboard; the branding is about what subscribers see.

Set it up#

Open Branding

Go to Account, then Branding.

Upload your logo

PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 1 MB. It shows at up to 200 by 64 pixels, so a wide logo on a transparent background looks best. Without a logo, the page shows your name in text instead.

Set the name

This is the name in the browser tab, and on the page itself when there is no logo. Leave it empty and each list's sender name is used instead, which suits an account that sends for several brands: every list's unsubscribe page then shows the business that list belongs to.

Pick a button colour

The unsubscribe button uses it. The text on the button switches between black and white automatically so it stays readable.

Save

The preview on the same screen shows how the page will look. Changes apply straight away to every unsubscribe link you have already sent, as well as new ones.

If you send for several clients#

There are two ways to keep each client's brand in front of its own subscribers:

  1. An account per client. Each account has its own logo, name and colour.
  2. One account, a list per client. Leave the brand name empty and give each list the client's sender name. The logo, if you upload one, is shared across the account, so in this setup it usually works better to leave the logo off and let each list's name show.

Questions#

Does this change the unsubscribe link in my emails? No. The link and the way it works are unchanged; only the page it opens looks different.

What happens if I move to Starter? The page goes back to the standard design. Your saved logo and settings are kept, and come back if you return to Pro or above.
